Part Time Sales Consultant, Perth.

With showrooms in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Australian Furniture Designer and Manufacturer, Arthur G is looking to expand its sales team in Perth.

We are seeking a Part Time, Sales Consultant to join our Perth Showroom, located along Stirling Highway in Claremont. The successful applicant will be based in the Showroom, contributing day to day operation of the showroom and providing sales assistance to new and existing clients.

This role would suit someone who is creative and organised with a passion for Furniture or Interior Design.  We are seeking a motivated individual that has the ability to work independently and also collaboratively with our interstate teams. Previous experience in similar role is preferred, but possessing a positive attitude is a must.

Role Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in furniture sales or similar interior design role
  • Part Time Hours, with the ability to work periodic Saturdays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service solutions to retail and trade clients.
  • Manage end to end sales for retail and commercial clients, including quoting, invoicing, sample recommendations, deliveries and after sales service.
  • Make site visits (where necessary).
  • Contribute to monthly KPIs
  • Attend to email and phone enquires in a timely and helpful manner.
  • Assist with day to day showroom tasks including and not limited to, administration tasks, sampling organisation and maintaining a high standard of showroom presentation.
  • Maintain existing and generate new client relationships, through positive customer service relationships.
  • Hold a current driver’s license.

The successful applicant will possess the below attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, personable and customer service orientated
  • Well organised with a high attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude to learning new designs, upholsteries and design trends
  • Competent in Xero and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using a CRM platform is a bonus
  • A degree in interior design / architecture is preferable.
  • Ability to use sketch up and/or Photoshop is a bonus
